Prof. Dimitris ASSIMAKOPOULOS 

Dimitris Assimakopoulos serves as the EDAMBA President elect having led several major initiatives and projects such as the European Code of Practice for Doctoral studies in Management.
 
Dimitris Assimakopoulos also serves as a member of the EFMD European Quality Link co-chairing the task force for producing and approving the EQUIS Standard for Doctoral programmes and has served as a member of the European Advisory Council of AACSB.
 

He is a full Professor of Technology & Innovation Management and Founding Director of the DBA program at Burgundy School of Business, Lyon campus in France; and also a Visiting Professor of Innovation Systems at the InnoLab, Vaasa University, Finland. He has been an EU ‘Marie Curie’ PI and academic supervisor on the management of emerging technologies for socio-economic impact; visiting scholar in Economic Sociology at Stanford University (USA); as well as an expert for the OECD centre for Entrepreneurship, SMEs, Regions and Cities. Assimakopoulos has also served as a Professor of Information Systems, Technology and Innovation Management at EM Lyon Business School; Scientific Co-Director of its Entrepreneurship & Innovation research centre; and the Founding Director of its Global DBA.
 
Dimitris has supervised to successful completion 20 PhD and DBA theses in the past two decades. He has also been the Founding Director of several Doctoral programmes in France, also served as associate dean for research at Grenoble Ecole de Management; in China at the Tongji University in Shanghai and at the Sun Yat Sen University in Guangzhou; and with the UK Russel Group research-led Universities in Durham and Newcastle upon Tyne.
 
Dimitris has published 10 books and special issues, as well as more than 140 articles in scholarly and professional journals, chapters and project reports. Research has focused on social and responsible innovation with interest in the management of R&D collaboration; the origins and evolution of technological communities in regional clusters and entrepreneurial ecosystems; social networks and talent management, new product development, quality and product safety performance. He has led and/or participated in several multi-million euros projects with world class organizations, such as CERN, Intel, Bayer and Airbus.

Dr. John Parm ULHOI

 

 

John Ulhoi is Professor of OMT in the Department of Management at Aarhus University, Denmark. Research expertise has been documented from the following sub-fields: strategy, organization structures, organization behavior, organizational digitalization, technology and innovation management, intrapreneurship and entrepreneurship, change management, environmental management and social robotics. Research has been funded by national, Nordic as well as European funding. His research appears in journals such as for example Journal of Business Venturing, Entrepreneurship, Theory and Practice, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Managerial & Decision Economics, Business Strategy and the Environment, Journal of Cleaner Production, Technovation, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, Scandinavian Journal of Management and Frontiers in Robotics and AI.

Current or previous leadership positions in European Doctoral program Association in Management and Business Administration, The Nordic Academy of Management, European Science Foundation (Chairman of the Social Sciences Panel) and The AoM (The Executive Board of the TIM Division). Current or previous editorial positions on the boards of Business Strategy and the Environment (Wiley), International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health, Journal of Global Entrepreneurship Research (Springer) and European Journal of Operational Research (Elsevier). Present Editor-in-Chief of Scandinavian Journal of Management.

He has served as national advisor for Danish ministries and agencies and as international advisor for Norwegian Science Council (Norway), The Dutch Research Council (Holland), The Research Foundation, Flanders (Belgium), The Office for Scientific, Technical and Cultural Affairs (Belgium), The Canadian Network of Centres of Excellence (Canada), National Science Foundation, Georgia, COST Organization, Brussels,

Co-founder and Director of two MBA-programs and has been involved in joint MBA-activities with European Summer School for Advanced Management (5 European universities), Warwick University, University of Brighton, and University of Stellenbosch. He has more than 20 years of experiences from directing and developing doctoral programs, including directing an inter-university doctoral program (2003-2018). Recipient of several awards and honors, including being Knighted by the Queen (2015).

Dániel Havran is an Associate Professor in Finance at the Corvinus University of Budapest. He works in capacity of a Quality Assurance Director of the PhD Program of Management and Business Administration, and in the Head of Finance Master Programme at the same institution. From the very beginning of his career, he has been teaching and researching broader issues related to Finance. He also filled the position of Research Director at the Business School of Corvinus between 2017 and 2020.

Dr. Sara LE ROUX 


 

Sara Le Roux is Deputy Associate Dean Undergraduate Studies at Oxford Brookes Business School. She works closely with the School Executive Team and Educational Leadership Group, to provide academic leadership across the undergraduate portfolio of programmes, including leading the effective operational management and delivery of these programmes.

 

Sara supports and directs the activities of the Undergraduate Programme Leads to deliver continuous improvement and excellence in teaching and learning, and the student experience, including through monitoring the development and implementation of the NSS action plans.

 

As Reader in Applied Economics and Decision at Oxford Brookes Business School (since January 2021), her research focusses on decision-making in various contexts, with a view of providing policy recommendations or strategic guidance that can be used to improve decision-making outcomes.

 

​Her PhD in Economics (University of Exeter, 2012), focused mainly on experiments in decision-making and was conducted under the supervisory team of Prof. David Kelsey and Prof. Dieter Balkenborg.
 
​​She received a PG Diploma in Economics from the London School of Economics (2008) and an MSc in Economics and Experimental Economics from the University of Exeter (2009), for which she was awarded a Dean's Commendation.

Decision-making under ambiguity; Behavioural economics; Game theory; Public economics; Development Economics & Finance.

Director, Master of Research in Management Sciences

François Collet is Associate Professor (with tenure) at ESADE Business School, Ramon Llull University. He is interested in the sociological and psychological mechanisms that shape the perception of value. He also investigates how networks affect individual performance and segregation. He is director of the Master of Research at ESADE. He holds a DPhil in Management from the University of Oxford. He teaches courses in organizational design and organizational theory.

Qingsong Ruan is Professor at the School of Economics and Management since 2005, and Deputy Dean at Tongji University in Shanghai in China.  His research field is Corporate Finance and he teaches in the Department of Economics and Finance.  He has supported EDAMBA as and contributed to the Executive Committee as an honorary member before election in 2024.

Taran PATEL

Prof Taran Patel has lived and worked in several countries including India, France, Spain, UAE, Singapore, Finland and the UK. She is Senior/Full Professor in the People, Organization, and Society Department of GEM. She was also the Program Director of the MIB (Masters of International Business) program of Grenoble Ecole de Management from September 2009 to July 2013. She earned her PhD from the Open University at Milton Keynes (UK) under the supervision of Prof Steve Rayner (University of Oxford) in 2006 and her Habilitation à Diriger des Recherche (HDR) from University of Rouen (France) under the guidance of Prof Michalis Lianos in 2022.

Carolina is Associate Professor of Orgaizational Behavior at Aix Marseille Graduate School of Management - IAE.  She has worked for 12 years in several companies internationally before joining academia over 20 years ago. Her major teaching domains are change management, leadership, intercultural management, process consulting practice, and coaching. Her research domain covers cynicism in organizations, trust repair processes, social exchange mechanisms between middle management and top management, and, currently, sexism at work, among other managerial behavior-related topics (JBE, JMS, EMJ .. .). She used to be the Academic Director of the MSc in Corporate Communication and Change Management, MBA, EMBA, EuroMBA and International Teachers Programme ITP. She is also a certified professional coach and a change consultant in organizations and is regularly involved in corporate executive training programmes, in cooperation with thecamp, HEC Paris, EFMD, and other international organizations and business schools.
